Fedders Presents Smaller, Highly-Efficient Furnaces at 2006 AHR Expo

New 80% efficiency models include more standard features than most competitors

Liberty Corner, New Jersey (January 2006) — Fedders Corporation (NYSE: FJC) will showcase its line of all position 80% Efficiency Furnaces at the International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Exposition (AHR Expo) in Chicago, Illinois, January 23-25. The new compact designs are some of the smallest in the industry at 35” tall, allowing more freedom of choice when selecting an installation location, while also accommodating the 13 SEER “A” coils for today’s more efficient air conditioning systems. All units come standard with low NOX compliance at 80% AFUE, typically an option on competitive products.
