Fedders^® Announces New Commercial Grade 12 SEER VA & HA Wall Mount Products for Use in Modular Buildings, Schools, Telecom Structures and Stand-Alone Businesses

Liberty Corner, New Jersey (January 2006) — Fedders Corporation (NYSE: FJC) will introduce an exciting expansion of its wall mounted products at the International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Exposition (AHR Expo) in Chicago, Illinois, January 23-25 to include new 12 SEER (10.3 EER) efficiency for its VA (air conditioning) & HA (heat pump) series. The new wall mounts will be marketed under two longtime trusted Fedders brands: Eubank^® and Sun™.

 “Wall mount products are a product category that has been around for a while, but few people know about them,” states Jung Baek, Director, Global Product Planning, Commercial HVAC. “A wall mount is a vertically mounted package unit, which means that the entire system is self-contained and can work in ducted or free blowing applications. They are primarily used to regulate temperatures in modular buildings such as schools and telecom. Wall mounts are also used on oil rigs or in other harsh environments where specially coated Heresite^® coils prevent corrosion and Fedders’ advanced technologies can keep temperatures constant, even in the hottest conditions, to protect electronic equipment.”
