Application |
- Fedders Self-Contained Indoor Packaged Units are ideally suited for older, larger buildings such as lofts or warehouses that are being renovated into offices, apartments or institutional buildings. These units have been designed to:
- Preserve exterior appearance of renovated buildings by using former window openings to bring in condenser air
- Provide floor-by-floor independent air conditioning systems with individual controls
- Eliminate roof penetrations, curb flashings and long runs of refrigerant tubing that impair unit efficiency
- Provide reliable air conditioning without the use of water or cooling towers
- Allow the installation of ductwork or the use of a free-blow application
- Provide 50% capacity reduction on 8, 10, 12, 15, 20 and 25 ton models by using dual refrigeration circuits and face split evaporator coilss

- Heavy duty cabinet construction with galvanized steel and paint finish that meets or exceeds 1,000 hour salt spray test
- High efficiency scroll compressors reduce vibration transmission to the unit structure and minimize piping stress
- Sloped stainless steel condensate drain pan is constructed of stainless steel and insulated with 1" fiberglass installation
- Fully insulated refrigerant lines prevent condensation
from collecting in the unit base
- Service connections are factory installed in compressor suction and discharge lines for ease of service
- High and low pressure controls for added safety
- All models are shipped with 2" thick disposable glass
