Atomizing humidifiers are installed onto the supply duct, where a nozzle creates a water vapor that is distributed into the home through the ductwork. The combination humidistat/thermostat, which is installed either on the wall or in the cold air return duct, automatically controls the operation to ensure that the proper amount of humidity is added to the home.
