Our goal is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We take pride in the quality of the products we sell and offering great customer service is our top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please follow the guidelines detailed below and we will be happy to help you to return your purchase.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

Please contact Fedders.com Online Customer Support at 1-866-829-2440 as soon as possible between the hours of 9AM-5PM EST Monday through Friday upon discovering any damage or defect with an item ordered. All damages should be reported within 30 days of delivery.

If you receive a defective product or experience problems with your product that fall within the Fedders Warranty, you may process the return on our website and ship the defective product to our warranty department. First, browse to our warranty return page and fill out the form. Please include the following information in the message:

  • shipping address order number
  • date of purchase and purchase location
  • explanation of the product defect

Note: Your repair/exchange may not be processed if we do not have all your information. Ship your defective product and all the above-listed information along with proof of purchase (as described in our warranty information) to our warranty department. You are responsible for any costs associated with shipping your product to the warranty fulfillment center. Fedders cannot be held responsible for products lost or damaged in transit. We recommend that you insure your package and use a shipper, such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS that allows you to track your package. Once the product is received, we will process your return and ship you a replacement product.

PRODUCT EXCHANGES

Return to the store where you originally purchased your air conditioner. Bring the original receipt as well as your valid photo ID for all exchanges and returns. We electronically secure your information solely for the purpose of returns management, in accordance with state and federal laws regarding consumer privacy.

REFUND METHOD

Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original payment. However, when the item was purchased with cash or with a debit card without a major credit card logo for more than $500, or with a check for more than $250 the refund will be in the form of a check mailed to you within 10 business days. If the item was purchased using debit and the debit card has a major credit card logo, refunds under $250 will be issued as cash; refunds over $250 will be credited back to the card.

RESTRICTIONS

Fedders is not responsible for repair or replacement of the product if in violation of this warranty. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary from state to state that may result in the change of this warranty. To obtain service under this warranty agreement, properly protect the product in a shipping package, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit, and include a copy of the original receipt.
